Some people get tired of waiting the incoming IE 7 or Windows Vista. One of them leaked a preview release of IE 7 (build 5299, labeled "beta 2 preview") on the Internet.
IE 7 has been published on Jcxp.net [1], which is not reachable right now. Perhaps Microsoft managed to close it down. Or perhaps is there a more simple explanation : the home page reads :
[2]
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded.
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."
IE 7 was apparently downloaded at least 12,000 times. With so many downloaders, curious computer users shouldnt have too many difficulties finding it.
