Yahoo! gives up quest for search dominance

Without doubt, Google is the leading Search engine. Competitors like MSN and Yahoo! tried to catch up, but are left far behind.

It seems that Yahoo! gives up quest for search dominance [1]. Yahoo Chief Financiel Officer Susan Decker said Yahoo! wont gain a lot of share from Google :

"It's not our goal to be No. 1 in Internet search. We would be very happy to maintain our market share."

After Yahoo! shares recently plunged by more than 13% [2], I'm not sure those statements will attract more investors.
